- Balgran – A Charitable Home for Children, Channi Rama, Jammu Press Release Today Balgran celebrated 76th Republic Day in its complex Shri Vikram Randhawa, Hon’ble M A of Bahu Constituency of Jammu and Kashmir hoisted National Flag in Balgran Premises as Chief Guest in the celebration.While addressing the large gathering of Balgran Fraternity, members of civil society, Patrons of Balgran life members of the trust, faculty members &students of Bal Bharti Public School of Balgran and their parents, Shri Randhawa appreciated the efforts of Balgran for the welfare and all round development of the underprivileged children and also promised to extend all possible support for the bright future of Balgran children. He congratulated Balgran for a very impressive cultural programme presented by its children depicting different events of nationalism and strength of constitutionalism in the governance of the society for value based life, all round peace and development in the country. He also announced a financial support of Rs.20,00000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakh only) which will be released very soon. On 76th Republic Day Mrs Sadhna Kachroo, Honorary Director, Bal Bharti Public School of Balgran donated Rs.300000.00 (Rupees three lakh only) to Balgran. Her son Shri Dhanajaya Kachroo, Life Member of Balgran, also donated Rs. 300000.00 (Rupees Three lakh only) on this this Republic Day to Balgran. It may not be out of place to mention that both of them have been donating very liberally every year and till date their donations and donations through them might not be less than about Rs.5000000.00 (Rupees Fifty Lakh only). On the occasion of the 76thRepublic Day Celebration, Students of Bal Bharti Public School of Balgran mesmerised the audience with a colorful cultural programme of dance and music comprising Welcome Dance by Junior Wing, Saraswati Vandhana, Dance by Junior Wing, Patriotic Dance by Boys, Patriotic Song, Dance by Senior Wing, Panjabi Dance, Skit, Kashmiri Folk, Patriotic Dance by Girls and Dogri Dance by Girls. Initially the Honorary President of Balgran Shri Vinod Raina in his welcome address highlighted the major activities of the institution for the welfare of underprivileged children and empowering them with education and all round development to become self-development and responsible citizens. Balgran felicitated Mrs Urmil Arora, Founder Principal and Advisor Bal Bharti Public School with a brief citation for her excellent service to the mankind as social activist and honorary teachers of Balgran school in the function. On the occasion. Similarly, Balgran also felicitated CEO/Representative of M/S Sai Corp. Creations Pvt. Ltd., Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, with a brief citation for their inspiring donation for everlasting welfare of underprivileged children of Balgran. In the end Hon. - Plantation drive of was organized on Balgran Complex under the supervision of Sh. Swatantra Dev and Sh. S. C. Sharma with 60 plants procured from Vashnavi Vatika of SMVD Shrine Board on 31-07-2024.
- Annual Day of Bal Bharti Public School of Balgran was celebrated on April 28, 2024 with Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, University of Jammu and Former Director Indian Institute of Management, Sirmaur (H.P) as Chief Guest & Shri Sunit Kumar, Divisional Head, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Jammu as Guest of Honour.
- S.B.I donated Beds, Tables, Steel Almirah & Fans to Balgran.
- Medical Camp was organized by Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Chairperson Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation, Jammu in collaboration with Dr. K. D. Multispecialty Hospital.
