- CONDOLENCE MESSAGE Today we the Members, Staff, Children of Balgran, Faculty Members and Students of Bal Bharti Public School gathered in the Balgran Complex to mourn the sad, sudden and untimely demise of our esteemed Colleague Dr Shashikant Goswami and observed two minute silence. He had long association with this organisation and became very active part of it about nine years before. He joined Balgran as Member in 2016, became Life Member in 2017 & also got elected as a Member of Governing Body in the same year. In 2021 Dr. Goswami was elected as Hon. Treasurer in the year 2021 and on the completion of his tenure of three years he was re-elected as Hon. Treasurer in 2023. He performed his duties very sincerely & dedicatedly in the best interest of this organisation. He also looked after Balgran’s Newsletter as a Member on its Editorial Board. His contributions for all round development of Balgran have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.Dr. Goswami was a dedicated professional, a compassionate and selfless individual whose commitment for the welfare of underprivileged children and the community was unmatchable. As the Hon. Treasurer of Balgran, he worked tirelessly to ensure that the organization’s mission of supporting vulnerable children and providing them with opportunities for a better future remained strong and unwavering.His leadership was characterized by integrity, foresight, and a deep sense of responsibility. Dr Goswami's meticulous attention to financial matters enabled Balgran to continue its vital work, bringing hope and joy to those who needed it the most. His dedication went beyond numbers; he truly believed in the cause he served, and his efforts made a tangible difference in the lives of many children.What we will remember the most about Dr. Goswami was his warm attitude and humility. He remained always approachable and supportive for the right cause. His kindness, his wisdom, and his quiet strength will forever be cherished by those of us who were fortunate enough to work with him, and by the many lives he touched along the way.Today, as we say goodbye to Dr. Goswami, let us remember the profound legacy he leaves behind - a legacy of service, love, and unwavering dedication to those in need. He has gone, but his spirit and the work he championed will live for ever. We ought to continue his work with the same passion, integrity, and commitment that he demonstrated so honestly. To his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who knew him, we offer our deepest condolences and assure them that they are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.Dr. Goswami may have left this world but his memory will continue to guide us. May his soul rest in peace.
- Children visited MG Cafe for Janamashtmi Celebration on 24th Aug, 2024, They sang devotional songs, did painting, performed dances and engaged in playful activities. Special refreshment and gifts were given to our children to immerse them in the festive spirit of Janamashtmi.
- Prof. R. D. Sharma Hon. Secretary Balgran celebrated Raksha Bandan on August 19, 2024 with the children of Balgran.
- Plantation drive of was organized on Balgran Complex under the supervision of Sh. Swatantra Dev and Sh. S. C. Sharma with 60 plants procured from Vashnavi Vatika of SMVD Shrine Board on 31-07-2024.
- Annual Day of Bal Bharti Public School of Balgran was celebrated on April 28, 2024 with Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, University of Jammu and Former Director Indian Institute of Management, Sirmaur (H.P) as Chief Guest & Shri Sunit Kumar, Divisional Head, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Jammu as Guest of Honour.
- S.B.I donated Beds, Tables, Steel Almirah & Fans to Balgran.
- Republic Day was celebrated with Sh. Balwant Thakur, Former Cultural Ambassador to South Africa as Chief Guest
- Medical Camp was organized by Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Chairperson Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation, Jammu in collaboration with Dr. K. D. Multispecialty Hospital.
- Yoga Day was celebrated on 29-10-2023.
- National Sports Day was organized in Collaboration with SSB SHQ (SPL OPS) Jammu on 29th Aug 2023.
- Swachhta Pakhwada was organized in Balgran on 1-10-2023 by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
- Debate was organised jointly by Samaj Kalyan kendra and Balgran between school of Deaf and Dumb Jammu and inmates of Balgran and presided by Sh .B.R.Sharma, Retd. Chief Secretary, Jammu.
- Dr. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary Sports Council and her team visted Balgran to promote sports.
- Gandhi Jyanti celebrated in BALGRAN
- Swatch Bharat Abhiyan was organized in BALGRAN with the Managemnet Committee members
